Sheikha Dana Naser Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah was appointed Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Jordan Kuwait Bank making her the first woman to hold this position in the Jordanian Banking sector .
Sheikh Dana Al Sabah has joined Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) – KIPCO in January 2022 as Group CEO and has Been a board member since 2020. She is the founder & chair of the board of trustees of the American University of Kuwait (AUK) (AUK) and chairperson of United Education Company. She was formerly CEO of Al Futtooh Holding Company and currently holds board positions in Gulf Insurance Group K.S.C.P ,OSN and Kamco Invest . Sheikha Dana holds an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters from Dartmouth College in the US and a BA in English literature from Kuwait University.
She also studies at Indiana University Bloomington
in the US.
She was recently recognised by Forbes Middle East amongst Middle East’s 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen 2024
