Acting as Coordinator, Mandated Lead Arranger, and Bookrunner, Ecobank Uganda leveraged the Ecobank Group\u2019s Pan-African network and deep sectoral expertise to mobilize this facility, in partnership with the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) and FirstRand Bank (through its RMB division). The funds are allocated to transformative projects in healthcare, education, power, road construction, and industrialization, aiming to expand access to quality medical care, reliable energy, modern transportation, clean water, and sanitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This landmark deal underscores Ecobank Uganda\u2019s evolution from a niche player to a trusted financial partner capable of leading large-scale, purpose-driven transactions. It validates the bank\u2019s turnaround strategy and positions it at the forefront of impactful financing in Uganda, demonstrating its credibility, competence, and capacity to structure deals that drive community empowerment and economic growth.
